Conwy
Town
A level 2 minute walk will take you into the beautiful walled town, the
fabulous medieval Conwy Castle and nearby, the Conwy Estuary Harbour
and Quay.
Conwy is well provided with Car Parks all within a minute's walk of
Conwy Tourist Information Centre.
You
don't need to bring much in the way of food/supplies as everything is
available in the town centre.
You can often spend an odd few minutes meandering around our historic
and beautiful town without ever being more than minutes from the
Festival Site.
FREE SITE BUS
In 2005 we introduced and inter-site bus service. This can drop you
almost anywhere in the town, and it will do a "shower run" to the
Leisure Centre a couple of times a day.
This year camper-vans and caravans will be sited on the grass area around
the Council Offices and by the Tennis courts.
Camping in tents only will be located on the area of Bodlondeb field between
the town walls and the tall trees.
All parts of the site are flat & level, & surrounded with trees
The Marquee will be on the Tennis Court area. This will mean that dancing and
the stage in the Marquee will be on much more of an "even keel", cleaner and
dryer than the old site.
